CARE INSTRUCTIONS
The silver comes from Thailand, and is made by the Karen Hilltribe people, using their traditional methods and skills. It may tarnish with wear, and can be cleaned carefully with any normal silver cleaner. Silver is delicate. Please take care when storing.
Cleaning: lightly use silver cleaner, and polish.
Pearls
Pearls are fresh water pearls from southern China. The pearls are seeded and grown in vast pearl farms in the Jiangsu region in China. The pink, white, brown, and sepia coloured pearls are coloured naturally. The pale blue and deep blue/black pearls are dyed. The pearls are individually chosen for their irregular shapes or unusual colours. Each strand is double knotted to keep them from rubbing together using german silk thread.
Care: Perfume, hairspray, very hot water will damage the pearls. If they need to be cleaned a light wash in warm soapy water is sufficient.
The majority of the stone used are not dyed, and purchased for their quality. The intention is that the stones are worn not only for their beauty, but also for their healing quality.
Turquoise, my stone of preference, being a most efficient healer, provides solas for the spirit and wellbeing for the body.
